Hey, my names Mike Andorka. I am from La Grange Park, which
is a suburb of Chicago that not a lot of people have heard of. I’m a business
major and a freshman here at ISU. I’m not big into “blogs” or “blogging” or
“writing stuff in the form of a blog,” but I’m also not into applied calculus
and I just got finished doing that, so I guess that’s just college. If you care
to know anything about me, I like music, especially Bob Dylan, Blink-182 and
the Beatles, I also like movies, guitar, bacon and the Blackhawks. I hate
Henrik and Daniel Sedin, peaches, and people who try to hand me things. I have
an older brother and sister and a very fat yellow lab named Mo.
When it
comes to writing, I don’t mind doing papers, even if they are long. The one
exception is if I have a topic I don’t like. If the topic is something I have
no interest in, I have a hard time doing a paper, especially if it requires
research. I also hate reading books I am not interested in and just find them
to be boring. Otherwise I have no problem with writing except I often have some
grammatical errors in my papers due to the fact that I hate going back and prof
reading them.
As for
English 101, I do not really know what to expect from the class. However, I do
like how we are allowed to pick what we want to do our first topic on and I am
looking forward to that project more than any other projects in my other
classes. I would also have to say I prefer this blog over other projects I have
to do so this class may end up being a lot of fun, but I guess I will just have
to wait and see.
